Amazon settlement reconciliation for sellers

Amazon pays in settlement cycles, and each settlement mixes orders, refunds, fees, reimbursements and adjustments. We break every settlement down to the orders behind it, check each fee, and check that refunds, reimbursements and tax credits are accounted for.

What we check

What we check in your Amazon settlements

Every month, every order. Anything that doesn't add up is listed with the order it belongs to, so it can be claimed or corrected.

Settlements to orders

Each settlement broken down and matched to its orders and SKUs, and the total matched to your bank.

Fees checked

Referral, closing, shipping and fulfilment fees checked against what each order should have been charged.

Refunds and returns

Refunds matched to returned items, so you can see where a refund was issued but the product never came back.

FBA stock and reimbursements

For FBA sellers, stock lost or damaged in Amazon's warehouses checked against the reimbursements received.

Weight and size charges

Shipping charged on a higher weight or size than the package actually had, flagged for dispute.

TCS and TDS

GST TCS collected and income-tax TDS deducted by Amazon matched with the GST and income-tax portals.

How it works

The reports we work from

From Amazon Seller Central: the settlement reports and date range reports under Reports, the order and return reports, and the GST tax reports for your sales. FBA sellers also share the inventory and reimbursement reports.

You receive one Excel workbook a month: an overview and waterfall, a monthly P&L down to bank realisation, returns, SKUs, sales tied to GST, adjustments, a bank match and every order listed. See the sample report.

What you share

  • Settlement and date range reports
  • Order and return reports
  • GST tax reports for your sales
  • FBA inventory and reimbursement reports, if you use FBA
  • Your bank statement, to match every payout
Questions

Amazon reconciliation: common questions

Why is my Amazon payout lower than my sales?

Fees, refunds, shipping charges, tax deducted at source and amounts held back for later settlements all come out before you are paid. The reconciliation shows each of these, settlement by settlement and order by order.

Do you work with FBA and Easy Ship sellers?

Yes. For FBA we also check warehouse stock, lost and damaged items and reimbursements. For Easy Ship and self-ship sellers we focus on shipping charges, returns and claims.

What do I need to share?

The settlement, date range, order, return and GST reports from Seller Central, and your bank statement. We tell you exactly which reports to download.

Do you also handle GST and income tax on Amazon sales?

Yes. Your Amazon sales are tied to your GST returns, and the GST TCS collected and income-tax TDS deducted by Amazon are matched and claimed.

We also reconcile Myntra, Meesho and Flipkart payouts, along with Nykaa, Blinkit, Zepto and Instamart. See the full e-commerce service.
